he’d brought flowers, chocolates, balloons and even one of those corny valentine cards tucked into the bouquet for casey to read. sure, it’s not the most discreet display of affection, but it’s not like there was any other way to get these gifts to her. casey was a busy med student and atticus saw it was only fit that he went out of his way to support her, and give her the valentine’s day treatment she deserved. “i...” he starts as soon as he’s face-to-face with casey, a few girls around them giggling on the side as they watch the scene unfold between the two of them, “i just thought, since you were busy tonight, i’d just bring valentine’s to you,” he tells her shrugging, before leaning down to give her a kiss on the cheek, “happy valentine’s day,” his lips curve into a smile.
