At Scrumday 2017 held in Simcorp I presented parts of the work that I have been involved in and the thoughts that follows an agile transformation.
On a personal level â the journey with Bankdata already started back at Scrumday 2016 where my colleague Claus gave a talk on the agile transformation called b-agile. This made me jumpâŠ

What happens when you bring together an Agile Coach and a Design Management Consultant, and put them in Disneyland Paris? They present a unique case study!Â
Presenting a "Retour d'experience" about the Beirut Service Jam and the tools incorporated from the Agile methodology, Scrum Day Paris was an inspiration on so many levels.Â
-As a speaker with Pierre Hervouet, it allowed me to fulfill one of Mirada's milestones for this year: showcasing our work in an international context.
-As a design managment consultant in an Agile world, it was an opportunity to mingle and connect with professionals who use different tools and skills but who share the same spirit.
-As a curious learner and avid prototyper, we were happy to share our "Unstuck Jar" cards and receive feedback from other participants as we look forward to prototyping more toolkits
I left energized from this immersive hands-on experience.Â
My top 3 takeaways:
-Play taken seriously: games are considered as opportunities to engage attendees, in a hands-on authentic manner, with a pinch of fun!
-Shu-Ha-Ri: part of Alistair Cockburn's presentation, this Aikido principle reflects a way to mastery and re-invention, from copy till you learn, to incorporate different inspirations, and finally creating a new process
-Trust in experimentation: the conference and open space experiences were complimentary and different, and everyone contributed their experience without judgement.
I think this is just the first step in an interesting journey forward. Let's keep prototyping and increase cross-pollination!
