1. G-2 .32 Gel Pens
I keep 1-2 of these in my bag at all times. A black gel pen is what I use most and is a go to for writing notes, essays, and homework! The smaller tip size keeps my writing neat, they dry fairly quickly, and can be found at most U.S. stores
2. Stabilo Fineliners
I keep an assortment of these in my pencil case as a staple as well. They're great for keeping a color code in my bujo. This is essential as keeping track of 8 classes and extracurriculars gets hectic fast! They also make for a great source of color in notes and can be used as an alternative to highlighting.
3. Crayola Supertips
I keep these in the same colors as my Stabilo fineliners. They function as a part of my color code, highlighters, and markers for faux calligraphy. These are super affordable, and I promise you'll get a ton of use out of them! Go get some of you don't already have a pack.
4. Papermate Clear Point, Pentel 0.5 Lead, & Dixon Ticonderoga Pencils
I hate using pencils but for math and teachers who require it, I use these two. 1 Papermate pencil is refillable and fairly sturdy, and I use Pentel 0.5 lead with it. The Dixon ones have stood the test of time and are great for standardized tests.
5. Faber-Castell Easy Grip
This is a great sharpener! It’s really well-made and aesthetically pleasing. Though I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re an also artist as it’s expensive compared to others.
6. BIC Ballpoint Pens (Black, Red, & Blue)
When teachers give out thin paper, I use these to guarantee my pen won’t bleed or ghost through the paper. They’re super cheap, so I’ll also use them on assignments that I won’t need in the future or don’t care about.
7. BIC Brite Liner (Yellow)
Again, I use this for assignments on too thin paper or that I just don’t care about.
8. Post-Its
I keep these a few full-sized post-its in my bag for making keys, adding reminders to my binder, and adding color to my sketchbooks and bujo. I also have post-it page flags which help me annotate books and mark my scenes in plays. 9. Mini Stapler & Tape
These are for keeping stuff together. Fairly self-explanatory.
10. Pencil Case
Lastly, I use an Ipsy faux leather, yellow bag. It’s actually a make-up bag which means it’s bigger and sturdier than most pencil cases without being as big or expensive as the Kipling 100-Pen case or Lihit Lab cases. Plus, my mom gave it to me, so it was free.
