About time our boy got to try some real food other than rations!

What about you guys, have you ever got to try food other than rations or mess hall grub? What was your favourite?

Well it has certainly been a hot minute since I was on here last. (Thanks depression.)

So I thought I'd share my recent project of making ARC trooper Fives as a hand and rod puppet to take around London MCM Comic Con.

We found many impostors (Stormtroopers), a zombie trooper and even General Skywalker!

I was pleasantly surprised and beyond happy how many people complimented my puppet considering this was my first with many new techniques and mediums I haven't used before.

I even got asked for pictures!

I had an afternoon tea with some friends and Fives found an appropriate apron to keep his armour clean. 😁

(yes those are toy plates and utensils, we're funny like that. 😅)

And because we didn't have an extra seat for him I put him on the rocking horse. 😂 I'm surprised he stayed up!

The first attempt however looks like he partied hard and decided to ride home. I mean, he's already legless! 🤣 (I'll see myself out...)

I love the downtime with the Dominoes series! The shenanigans, the banter! *Chef's kiss*

Makes me want to make an Echo to go with my PuppetFives.

I met with people of the local Star Wars fan group who were amazingly awesome and their Endor props and scene! 🤩

Saw some amazing build projects by Moe the Maker

Fives got clonenapped by some Jawas. The amount of times they grabbed his arm rods, I'm surprised his arms are still attached! 😂

I just realised it looks like Fives is trying to keep an eye on Boba. 🤣

Last but not least I got to meet fellow puppeteer Mike Quinn! Absolute legend. Had a lovely chat with him about his work in Star Wars, asking about how I made Fives and what my future plans with puppeteering was. 🤩
