I have a keyboard shortcut that toggles my laptop's keyboard on and off (except for the shortcut itself). I've been using it to clean cat hair off my keyboard without needing to shut the whole laptop down, which is fun and useful.
Today though I finally got it to work with my screenlocker, which gives it a cool second purpose. Most X11 screenlockers (I think Wayland doesn't have this problem) have the security flaw that someone could switch TTYs without needing to enter the password. Well, that's fixed. Good luck switching TTYs: the keys won't even respond in the first place unless you know the secret command ^_^
