27. “I remember practicing how to ask you out in the mirror.” This one is adorable 😊 please? Thank you!
ommmg im doing this with peter hehe i got a little carried away with this bc its so cute.
Peter couldn’t stop smiling. He was finally here, waiting for you. It’s been weeks before he finally gained enough courage to ask you out. Officially. He had enough money saved up to take you to a nice dinner. He couldn’t believe it.
His jaw dropped as you stepped outside of your apartment where he was waiting for you the stairs. You were absolutely stunning in your beautiful pale yellow dress. You blushed seeing his stare. “You like it? I hope it wasn’t too much.”
Peter blinked out of his trance. “Nononono! It’s perfect! You’re beautiful!”
You sighed in relief. “I was worried because you were staring at me.”
He chuckled. “I’m sorry just...never seen you in a dress before. You’re so pretty.”
Your cheeks burned. “You look handsome too.”
Peter glanced down his outfit, a nice button down shirt and slacks with dress shoes. “May helped me pick it out.” he admitted with a shrug.
You giggled. “She did an amazing job.” You stepped down and Peter held out his hand. You gently pecked his cheek, giggling and making him blush.
“I’m really happy you said yes.” Peter told you as you walked to the restaurant. It was close by so he thought it’d be better to walk then to drive. He laced your fingers with his, making you blush even more. “I remember practicing how to ask you out in the mirror.”
You giggled even more. “Peter, oh my god. You’re such a dork.”
“You’re really cute when you laugh.” He pecked your forehead with his lips.
You looked up at him in pure admiration. He looked nothing like the dork you had a crush on in class. Tonight he was a handsome young man holding your hand as he took you on your first date. But hopefully not the last.
You two talked as you walked to dinner. Peter was a perfect gentleman, gently rubbing his thumb on the back of your hand. He held the door open for you when you met the restaurant. The dinner was amazing, a nice Italian place.
“You sure you can afford this? It looks expensive.” you said, biting your lower lip. You looked for the cheapest thing on the menu.
“Don’t worry about it, y/n, I saved up. You can have whatever you want.” Peter assured you.
You eventually ordered and had an amazing time as you got to know him. At school you never really had time to just be with each other, to really get to know him. But now you had that chance. Peter reached over and took your hand across the table, your cheeks turning red.
You squeezed his hand letting him know you were okay with it. He smiled.
The dinner ended and Peter paid with a tip. You left the restaurant and you noticed Peter was more confident with himself. Instead of holding your hand, his own was on your lower back, holding you closer to him than before.
“I had a really good time, Peter.” you admitted.
“Me too. I hope we can do it again?”
You nodded. “I’m free on Friday after school.”
Peter smiled, a sight that made you swoon. He was so damn cute. “Well, I guess this is it for the night?” he said sadly as you reached your apartment. It was a school night after all.
“I guess so.” you admitted. “But we can stay out later on Friday.
Peter smiled again, something you never got tired of. Your back was against the column of the stairs. You were brave and pulled Peter closer to you, wrapping your arms around his neck. You were tired of being alone was ready to start something new and exciting.
Peter hesitated at first but he rested his hands on your hips and he bit his lower lip which was really hot.
You never kissed anyone before. But that was about to change.
You leaned up to kiss him but Peter pressed his finger to your lips, making you freeze.
“What are you doing?” he smirked.
“Um...I was hoping to kiss you.”
“I’m a gentleman and we gentleman never kiss on the first date.”
You stared dully at him. “Seriously?”
He winked. “Guess we will have to wait till Friday, darling.”
