The whole SDU's battle armor changed a little after humanity fully declared war on them, turning white as a representation of their alliance to the Rebellion. I've taken inspiration from a few fan redesigns I've seen around on tumblr, mainly still using black for the straps and such, cause it doesn't look quite right without that.

Takumi Sumino

Takumi looks mostly the same as before, just with his upgraded battle armor. He's thrown his whole self into his role as leader of the SDU, and is so desperate not to lose anyone else. He struggles to be a person outside of this though, and that has set him on a path of self destruction.

Eito Aotsuki

Eito has grown his hair out a little, and ties it up with a red ribbon that Takumi gave him. He still struggles with his Saya-no-Eito condition, but ever since learning the origins of it, has softened on his genocidal ideations. He's come to mostly accept it as a strange part of himself, though it does still make large social functions particularly exhausting for him.

He is Takumi's assistant, bodyguard, advisor, etc. and can always be found at his side. Rumors about the true nature of their relationship abound, even within the SDU...

Yugamu Omokage

Yugamu's put his skills to use mostly as a spy and infiltrator. He still kills if he has to, but the Rebellion broadly considers assassination a last ditch effort sort of play, as they want to find a diplomatic resolution to the war more than a military victory. This is great for Yugamu, as it means he's not generally expected to murder anyone he's not into.

He sticks around at SDU home base for the most part, reporting directly to Takumi. When not out on missions, he puts his efforts into chemical R&D out of the Bio Lab. He has continued his self-experimentation, getting even freakier with some of his body modifications <3 (his hairstyle is heavily inspired by sideloveless's rebellion yugamu cause i loveee that wolfcut so much)

Tsubasa Kawana

Tsubasa practically lives out of garage, basement workshop, and parking lot, working on projects of all shapes and sizes while keeping everything mission critical still running. Takumi fully believes the SDU would fall apart without her.

Unlike the others on the home team, she doesn't wear her class armor all that often, preferring more physcial alternatives instead. Most of her current outfits are made from Futuran local fabrics and cut for practicality, but she can and will raid the Gift-o-Matic for cute TRC styles when she wants to.

Being on the home team with a focus on R&D and repair means she doesn't have to see the battlefield much, but she'll still pitch in if they ever get attacked on their home turf.
