A dozen large burger buns are fresh out of the oven! Sliced one to check and they never disappoint. Light, fluffy, and a rich, smooth sourdough scent. Since I already have the oven heated, I'll be popping an oven thermometer in and checking and calibrating. It's not unusual for ovens to be off...way off. A couple times a year, I check and if it is off by 5 degrees or more, I fix it. Someone I know had been having problems with recipes and kicking herself for her inability to make great bread from any recipe. I helped her calibrate her oven. Itvwasvoff by 80 degrees! Yikes!!!!
