Pestilence theory
I had a crazy idea. What if the pestilence is actually arrogance because, if I remember correctly, the doctor in 049’s file who interviews the latter, kept saying that the pestilence had to be a real disease and refused to listen to 049 on the matter. In addition, I’m pretty sure that the arrogant scientist motif shows up in a lot of SCP articles.
