A lot of people do, yes. Or more accurately they're being educated in Westernized methods of medicine and the traditional methods of Eastern health are being challenged. What hasn't changed is the focus on proactive, preventative health, moving energy in the body, being balanced in eat/sleep/weight. They're extremely focused on everyday health, primarily because health care is so awful and expensive but they also seem to really understand the mind-body connection in ways most Westerners give lip service to but don't believe, that's an essential part of their culture. 

To 3 fantastic followers who have brought joy to my life from afar. I have only known you all for a short time, but I'm glad tumblr has allowed us to cross paths. I would like you to know that you share a birthday with my Grandma, Dorothy Jean Baumann. She is the one who originally told me that because I was born in July, I get to celebrate the whole month. She's gone now, but I bet she'd be thrilled to have you carrying on the July 9 legacy! Cheers and happy birthday to you, earlybirdnow, causticgrip and scottstartsover!
