----
The young couple were entangled in each other's bodies. Despite being in a king size bed, Paradise and Theo were always tightly wrapped around one another. Since he had returned to Beacon Hills the pair had grown very close, much to Stiles' dismay. Although as her twin brother, Stiles had always been very protective.
Since a young age Paradise had suffered with nightmares, it always be the same. A monster in the shadows with glowing eyes. Of course, Paradise knew about the supernatural world, she was very much a part of it. She used to think they were premonitions as the last time the girl had a very vivid dream, Allison ended up dead. Before that they were a lot more manageable. Still extremely distressing but a sleeping tablet would help, nowadays she would lie awake in a state of anxiety, waiting for the sun to rise.
For Paradise, the night started like any other, she put one of Theo's many tops she owned. Inhaling the relaxing scent. The smell of him helped to calm her down, he was her anchor. As per usual, Theo snuck into her bedroom, as quietly as possible so he didn't disturb her brother sleeping in the adjacent room.
The young couple fell asleep, their limbs intertwined. Their safe zones were with each other, despite how much everyone else had no trust in Theo, Paradise always trusted him, trusted him with her life.
Around 3am Paradise sat up in her sleep, her skin covered in a layer of sweat. She looked around her room in panic. Seeing the empty room, she climbed over sleepy Theo who laid beside her. He had been awoken by her but she said she was fine and pushed him back onto the bed. She went into her small en-suite, and brushed her hair that was sticking to her forehead into a messy pony tail. She got a damp flannel and pressed it on her head in hopes it would cool her down. She rinsed off her whole face before changing tops and crawling back to bed.
Paradise knew she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep, so she just laid there in the calming embrace of Theo. Theo was the next one to wake up, he hadn't properly gone to sleep since Paradise had woken up. He shifted his body weight so he was facing the small girl laid beside him.
"Are you okay?" He spoke in a hushed whisper, his voice cracked as he was just properly waking up.
"I'm fine T, go back to sleep," Paradise whispered back, placing a soft kiss on his shoulder that was near her face.
"You know I can tell when you're lying. I can hear your heartbeat?" He murmured.
Paradise, sat up and began to cry. Theo was quick to sit up and engulf the crying girl in his arms.
"Since I was young I've had these nightmares. They have been extremely vivid and they feel so real. Usually it's about a monster in the shadows with glowing eyes, but it isn't a werewolf. It's something else. I started getting them before bad things. Before the Kanima, before each of the sacrifices and the night before Allison's death," By the end of this Paradise was in tears, her voice was cracking and she was unable to say more than a few words without a small sob escaping her lips.
Her crying was unstoppable now, all Theo could do was kiss the top of her messy hair, while she was engulfed in his arms. After she had been crying for about 40 minutes, Stiles had come into the room, worried for the sanity of his twin sister.
He was met with the sight of his younger sister in the arms of a shirtless Theo. Neither of them had seen him so he slowly walked out. Stiles was sure Theo had seen him but he didn't say anything. He knew that Theo was looking out for his sister.
Around 5am Paradise had settled down, she was unable to sleep, as she had expected but in the arms of sleepy Theo she felt as safe as she could.
The nightmare had caused her to be extremely cautious of everyone around her. She was worried about all of her friends when they weren't with her.
