Totally not her fault that he had 'demanded' her attention, calling her name a second time (cause she hadnt honestly been paying attention the first time), right as she was spitting watermelon seeds. Her head had turned towards him at the same time like an instinct swivel and the movement rewarded Yusuke with getting pelted in the cheek by a bit of watermelon seeds. A couple of which stuck to his skin now. She froze, amusement was the first to show itself unexpectedly in barely stifled choked laughter until she noticed his hands had stilled on the chopping block where he was in the middle of chopping watermelons. Her laughter ended abruptly as her cheeks began to turn red. "Hold..hold on now that wasn't on purpose". Embarrassed stammering as she was quick to pick up her little plate of watermelon slices and attempt to escape the immediate range of his arms reach. (Tamaryn 😂)

“I’d say it’s hot but I think the endurance trainin’ I did a few years back’re helpin’ me against this heat.” CHOP! Yusuke spoke as he’s chopping up another bowl of watermelon. One could never predict whether or not the neighbors would see them in the backyard and decide to drop in considering he’s always been a welcoming host. “What’re you doin’ that’d help ya out with the summer?” Then there was silence.
“Princess?? Tammy?? Tambourine? Tamaryn!?” Gosh was she deaf today? He would understand if she was wearing earphones because then he would have justchalk it up to music etiquette and kept quiet, but she was clearly just ignoring hi- PIT!PIT!PIT! Yusuke’s eyes closed as he was pelted with a few number of seeds. Oh this woman she did it on purpose.
“You little-...” He then grabbed his knife and chased her around his head. “Why’re ya runnin’?? Jus’ hold still I got somethin’ t’ tell ya.”
