A few months ago, I began chipping away at a sort of timeline thing of how Scitch changes over the course of 25-ish years of her life. This is the end result
It was fun to capture her personality and mood shifts over time, showing the traits that stick around and the ones that change significantly
I do have a whole outline for this span of time, and I've been writing out some snippets of it, but I have no real plans to put it out in the world as one cohesive story. I'd like to post more about my gremlin child in the future, though. I'm also more than happy to answer questions if anyone asks 💜

I've been playing around with Scitch again lately, as well as the general world and story she fits into.
I realized years ago that the scope of that story got too big to actually write as a comic, especially while also doing AstralSounds. But I've been thinking about writing a series of posts summarizing all of it here on Tumblr. Little explanations of world building and character summaries.
Don't know if people would be interested or not, but I'd love to just get it all out there in some form. And then you all would have some context for all the Scitch art I will inevitably post.
Long before AstralSounds, my online presence started out in the Invader Zim fandom. My main OC at the time was Scitch, an Irken rebel who struggled with her mental health. The art and stories I created of her were the typical sort of adorably cringey teenager stuff you'd expect, but Scitch turned out to be a valuable outlet for a lot of my issues at the time. So while I haven't been involved in the IZ community in ages, I still have a lot of fond feelings towards Scitch, and occasionally create other iterations of her for different projects. Every year, I try to draw art of her on the anniversary of the day I first created her, October 5th. Today, Scitch turned 16 years old.

Inktober Day 5
October 5th is Scitch’s birthday, so of course i had to draw her, as is tradition. Throwing water balloons at random passersby with your Imp friends is as good a way as any to spend a birthday.
