REMIX: โThe increasing scale of a mixed-use building with its ability to accommodate more and more complex programs has become the main architecture force to drive the urbanism of a city. However, the programs of such an architecture are never really mixed. This thesis explores how urban programs could be โremixedโ inside a mixed-use building to create new opportunities. Based on a collage composed of reorienting OMAโs proposal for Parc de la Villette, the project not only seeks to provide connections between floors but also creates dynamic programs flowing with the circulation system inside the building.
