Netflix Original Series – The OA

I watched this trailer and the feeling I got is that once again Netflix is taking a chance on something strange. Now you wondering what I mean by strange. I only way for me to give any idea of what I mean is that I got that same feeling for The OA as I did from seeing Stranger Things trailer.  A feeling that this is going to be something very, very different.

The series premieres this Friday.

Hunters: A New Show On SYFY

A new series form The Walking Dead producer Gale Anne Hurd and 12 Monkey’s producer called Hunters is set to premiere in April on Syfy.

The series is based on Whitley Strieber’s bestselling novel, Alien Hunter.

The series stars Nathan Phillips (Wolf Creek) as FBI agent Flynn who will investigating the disappearance of his wife leads him to a secret government unit called the Exo Terrorism Unit.…

At first glance this is a very simply story of machine against man. Once you the film is done it is exactly that. The short is well done from a visually aspect but there is no substance story wise. The direction by Samuel Jorgensen shows that the man has a talent for action films.

Check it out if you love all action and no story.
