    they had practiced overnight at the school for this seasonâs play.  blocking was finalized, actors had their lines memorized, and kashima managed to stay on task most of the time.  all in all, ITâS A GOOD DAY.  hori and kashima say their goodbyes ( the latter taking longer, as usual ) before making their way outside.  heâs so content that her ramblings donât get him riled up; instead, he listens with the hint of a smile.
    then kashima turns to him with a beaming grin, streetlamps illuminating features the moonlight missed.  even though there arenât any stars out tonight, youâre still shining like one.  heâs seen her charm fans and actresses alike     hell, heâs stood in for the heroine during rehearsals.  and yet thereâs almost a tinge of SINCERITY in her gaze, one he hasnât glimpsed before.  hori blinks owlishly, soon realizing he has been silent all this time.
    he snorts, effectively ruining the moment.  she nearly had him for a moment.  â  save that for your fan club.  â  hori resumes walking, the other falling into step quickly, thanks to her height.  before she can say anything more, maybe complain about the lackluster reaction, he grins over at her, features soft.  â  good work today, kashima.  you were great.  â  thatâs putting it LIGHTLY, but he doesnât have a flair for words like she does.  hopefully, the sentiment behind it gets across.
