 One of the biggest pleasures of skiing in europe is that you often can eat well simply and locally just on the slopes.
This menu was as local as you can get in Tyrol.
We had Almdudler soft drinks to start, the gulasch soup, ham knödels in broth, amazing mixed salads with a yogurt dressing, fried cheese knödel and simmered ham knödel served with sauerkraut. For dessert we had a deliciously warm and eggy kaiserschmarren (chopped austrian pancake) served with berry and apple compotes.
I don’t know whether I was happier at about the food or the restaurant’s slopeside location.
According to the internet, this gem just opened this season so there is no phone number or direct website listed for them yet.
