Stitched on 18 count white Aida | 8ish” x 10ish”
It’s done! And I feel like the pictures don’t do this one justice. It looks so much better in person, with the exception of one stitch just below his bottom lip. It sticks out so much and bothers me when I look at it, but I feel like that stitch doesn’t show up in photos.
I’m just going to say that this one took a year exactly. If you want to get technical, it took a year and a day. I started it last year on the 27th. I technically finished it after midnight, so officially it was the 28th when I finished, but that makes little difference. It was a year. Lol!
If you haven’t watched Schitt’s Creek yet, I highly suggest you check it out. It’s the perfect feel good show to watch in a time like this. And, the first 5 seasons are on Netflix. The 6th and final season is almost finished and will likely be on Netflix within the next few months.
My original plan was to stitch David and Patrick together because they are just the cutest and I love them. But, I had a hard time finding a suitable picture of the two of them together and when I saw the brickwork on this one, I thought that might be a fun background. Of course, this project kept up my trend of picking images that include way too much black on them. I’ll never learn,
