Navigating the Cosmic Storm of the Star of Misfortune and a Fateful Eclipse
You may have noticed that a huge cluster of planets aligned in Pisces during the solar eclipse last Saturday. But did you know that some of them were conjunct the fixed star of sorrows, losses, and suffering?
This notorious star—Scheat—is located at 5° Pisces in the sidereal Zodiac and 29° Pisces in the tropical Zodiac. When the American Civil War began, Mercury and Neptune were within a 3° orb of Scheat.
During the recent eclipse, Venus and Neptune were within a 1° orb of Scheat, while Mercury and the North Node were within 2°. Since eclipse energy is believed to affect us until the next round of eclipses, the influence of Scheat will last until September. As a result, major disasters and social instabilities may occur.
While we can't control how this energy manifests on a global scale, we do have some say in how it affects us personally. Pisces represents spirituality and devotion, and although Scheat is associated with difficulties, it is also a star of talent.
We can either do nothing and allow this energy to overwhelm us, or we can actively devote ourselves to spiritual practices and develop our innate talents. This could be our remedy.
