So, I already mentioned a few days ago how Voltron LD and Avatar TLA/LOK have a few staff members in common... well, two of these staff members are scenarists, and it shows. I thought it was coincidential at first, and then I noticed the scenaristsā names.
I am more of a Last Airbender watcher than a Legend of Korra watcher, but I made some checks, and I know this :
- J. Hamilton wrote both the S2E8 of ATLA and theĀ S2E05 of VLD ;
- T. HedrickĀ wrote both the S3E4 of ATLA and the S1E04 of VLD ;
- Hedrick wrote theĀ S2E17 of ATLA, and Hamilton wrote theĀ S2E02 of VLD ;
- and maybe itās just me, but I think episodes 7 and 8 of VLD S1 resemble strongly episodes 6 and 10 of ATLA S1 respectively. Perhaps Hamilton and Hedrick were inspired by them ?...
