We bought a GoPro prior to the trip and it was a fantastic decision. Had a lot of fun in the water with it and it allowed us to capture cool moments like this.
We had a girl from the other boat paddle board out and capture our crew jumping off the boat. This also marks my first attempt at editing photos and footage from the GoPro!

Day 4
After a proper night out in Korčula, we were due a day with a bit of relaxation. After all the tequila and other drinks the night before, I was fully expecting to wake up wrecked. Much to my delight, I did not suffer that fate. This is when I finally realised there is no such thing as a hangover on holidays!
The next island stop was Šćedro, a small island affectionately referred to by our skipper as ‘Rat Island.’ This was one of the nights where we dropped anchor as opposed to docking at a harbour or marina. Along with dropping the anchor, the boat was tied up to some trees and rocks on shore. In the weeks before when Zoe was anchored here, she woke to a giant rat on board. Apparently, those suckers can make their way to the boats along the ropes. In an effort to make sure that did not happen again, we cut up some plastic bottles and put the rope through them.
Once anchored, we were tied to the other boat as well. It was a good way for everybody to chill and relax, whether it was sunbathing on-board or hanging out in the water. We never actually made it on to the island. As we were anchored in a small, quiet bay, it was a perfect time for me to brush up on my paddle boarding skills. A couple days earlier, I was doomed trying to stand up but I quickly got the hang of it! This ended up being one of my favourite parts of the entire week!
At night, a small boat approached selling booze, snacks and fresh pastries for the following morning. This ensured we had everything needed to continue enjoying the night with good company.
