So, as said it wasn’t me who made the order, it was my friend. Around last year small launched her ‘new English website’ along with the release of Char sp. shailara had always wanted a Char and loved the body so she put an order in for him. Following the order came a loooong period of no updates though. Small would keep her lofter account updated but outright refused to answer any questions. She even posted a picture of all the boxes with the Chars ready to ship out but again we got no update. 

It was around that time that she also released Yabi and I also fell in love (again! but my Kaka was bought secondhand from the Den of Angels marketplace). Considering she was only selling ten of the head I hurried to make an order with a taobao agent… only to have it cancelled because Small didn’t want to sell to agents a month later. 

However, I kept on the lookout for Yabi on every platform I was on while Shai tried to keep positive that we might be able to eventually contact small or seek a refund via PayPal despite being so long after the purchase was made. It was then when I stumbled across kannin on instagram who had a Yabi, painted by Bro.Titi no less to whom she referred to as ‘her friend’. So we asked if she perhaps also knew small, since Bro.Titi and her are also friends. And by some miracle she did, and was able to get small to come into contact with us. There was aparently some problem with China blocking flickr? And all our emails ended up in the junk mail folder for some reason…

Another good chunk of time later Shai finally received her Char and the free head ended up being Yabi, so she was amazing enough to gift it, in turn, to me! Since she knew how much I wanted him x3;;;
