Who is your favorite historical figure in relation to Titanic?
Hm, that's a very good question! Right now I'm going to go with Margaret "Molly" Brown, who was a much more educated and cultured person than her popular image suggests, despite being "new money". She used that money to educate herself and then to help Titanic survivors.
That scene always makes me so emotional.. I'll go cry in a corner now.. Don't even ask about the Nearer My God to Thee scene..
UGH ME TOO! And then when Jack and Rose leave the room and the camera goes back to Thomas and you can hear the Titanic creaking. KILLS ME EVERYTIME!
DONâT GET ME STARTED ON THAT SCENE! That music is fucking sad! And youâve got the Captain and Thomas with his head bowed and the children in bed and the old couple lying in bed together and then the people on the deck screaming and I JUST CANâT. The Nearer My God to Thee scene is when I start freaking losing it.

When he says âIt is a mathematical certaintyâ the look in his eyes. The realisation, the disappointment, the fear, the resignation - itâs all there.

I was already aware of Thomas Andrews before I saw Cameronâs Titanic but I think Victor Garberâs portrayal really endeared me to him, Usually, Andrews is portrayed, in my opinion, in a somewhat detached, sometimes over the top edwardian-esque noble/hero way. Whereas, Garberâs portrayal made me feel like I connected with him as a human being.

With Helen. I donât understand these Rose/Andrews shippersâŚ
