ANYWAYS—here’s some lovely art my bestie @creativity-deficient and I made for a 1950’s Monster High Valentine’s collab! 💜

We decided once again to pair up and draw the beautiful sapphic pairing of Robecca Steam & Venus McFlytrap (aka RoVenus or PowerPlant)! I drew Venus and she drew Robecca. 🥰

Finally, I have finished this piece! It’s one of my favorites so far. I’m very proud of how I pushed myself with this idea as the anatomy wasn’t easy lmao. Regardless, it paid off and I had a lot of fun!

The backstory of this piece is when Hexiciah went missing in the catacombs, taking a 100 year nap. The sepia tones on him (and the letters), as well as him sleeping in the hourglass resembles him being stuck in the sands of time. Meanwhile, Nora is in color, resembling how she’s changed with time while simultaneously being emotionally attached to him and their past. She’s also faced down and crying, unable to see him as she genuinely doesn’t know where he is.

It was for a little anatomy practice. They all drew Hexiciah, and I decided to draw a little intimate moment between Nora (Bloodgood) and Hexiciah, as they’re waking up in the morning. Nora clearly being more sleepy than Hex is lmaoo.

She doesn’t have a name yet, but her design is finalized and her lore is somewhat developed. Since I love fairies so dearly, I decided to base her off of a Sky Dancer!

Originally she was just a butterfly-esque fairy, this design was draw as a surprise for me by my bestie @definitely-not-poni . 💜

I think this design is absolutely adorable as well, and I tried to keep the og color palette, but it didn’t work too well with the Wisteria ideas I had developed for her as I was drawing. I might give her a butterfly form like in Poni’s art of her, but I’m unsure for now.

This took so long bc I wanted to make this submission look extra cute, I want to make it into a keychain. ^^

Alright divas, as promised here is day two of BloodHex-tober!

Sorry it’s late, I was so exhausted from pulling an all nighter drawing the first day prompt. I needed rest badly. Luckily, I’ve gotten it now, and with that said the rest of my BloodHex-tober submissions will be simple sketches like this. Just to make it easier on myself while still enjoying drawing! <3

Anyways, a little context for the drawing, it’s them dancing at their wedding!! One day I will come back to this piece and color it. I’m very happy with how I’ve designed their wedding attire so far. I hope ya’ll like it and are enjoying BloodHex as much as I am. 💜

This was supposed to be a simple sketch, but I got carried away lmaooo. Hence why it’s a little late.

Anyways, a little backstory for this is based off an old headcanon of mine, where Bloodgood and Hexiciah meet at some sort of banquet/ball held by Dracula in hopes of helping promote Monster High as it’s in the making. They both grow found of each other, holding intellectual and infatuating conversations (and becoming a bit smitten) with each other. They especially about their love for their careers, future endeavors, and Hexiciah taking a great interest in wanting to teach at and help build Monster High.
