Ah- it was a problem, being out so late, especially as Shin who technically wasn’t supposed to exist in Talia. It had started out as nothing more than exploring Hani’i, wanting to escape from being Harbon for a few precious hours, but now the sun was gone, and he couldn’t tell left from right just by the light of the moon. While he could have just as well transformed into something - an owl, or maybe a wolf - and found his own way, he didn’t know the lay of the land; it would potentially take hours to find a home that could be a short walk away.
Therefore, instead of being a loner, Shin decided - for once in his life - to rely on somebody else, and bowed quickly, politely, to the woman he found sitting alone. He was still a few steps away, so as to not startle her, but close enough for her to know that he was referring to her as he spoke.
『 Ma’am, would you be so kind as to point me in the direction of Pumalao’s Paradise? 』
