This here is a Scaredy Rat (Mario enemy for those who don't know) gal named Ritzy Allegro. I only drew her a few times and I'm pretty sure I never showed her online?

Ah, well. Even if I did, she's still another addition to my collection of "OCs That Hardly Get Any Attention At All I'mSoSorry-"

Her backstory is a simple one: she's part of a dance troupe that specializes in ballet and tap. A prodigy even from a young age, Ritzy is the leading lady that gives her all in every performance. She's the embodiment of the phrase "dance as if no one is watching."

Only problem is, she's still a Scaredy Rat, and Scaredy Rats are known to be... well, timid. The confidence she shows on the stage stays exactly where she leaves it; as soon as she's out of the spotlight, she's a flustered mess. Even more so if the person talking to her is a fan of hers.

What? Did you think I meant that negatively? No way! “Rats” in a negative context is so outdated. It’s time rats get the love they deserve!

Scaredy-Rats are a fresh new face in NSMB Wii’s ghost houses! I believe it’s the only living, organic creature found in these levels... or is it?

Just look at those eyes, and that jagged jack o’ lantern style mouth! Those are features that just scream “ghoul” to me. Maybe it’s the ghost of a rat! Or maybe it IS a living rat, but a result of a normal rat evolving to adapt to the environment of a haunted house. Hey, we can’t know for sure it’s NOT that! We haven’t seen any real animals adapt to haunted houses! Not yet, at least!
