The last leaves fall, the season comes to an end and Creighton Chaney says goodbye to Northland Asylum. They have given me freedom, not just freedom from a cell, but freedom of mind and soul, a freedom of self. But, with tooth and claw, I have watered the asylum grounds with blood. The outside world has taken notice of the things that go on here and I will not be around when the mob arrives. When it burns, I wonder if the asylum's madness will seep out into the world. A thing like that can never really be snuffed out. No matter how hard you try. I should burn this journal as well. It contains evidence of a weaker man. A man who couldn't see the wolf for the gift it is. Still, I can't bring myself to do so. I'll burry it in the cemetery.
