I headcanon that onetime when Arthur was really drunk he went to go watch a movie and cried during the entire thing. Just sat there drunkenly sobbing while everyone gave him weird looks.

Loving the way Johns description of faroe parallels the way he described the baby from part 4 of Blackstone
The description of "knowing more about the world" oooooooooooo
Its not a perfect parallel but the similarities are fascinating. I also may just be seeing shit.
so uh heres some transmasc propaganda for leonard Gilbert because he had very transmasc vibes to me! (idk why) mediocore sketch from my sketchbook at the bottom (warning its 1 am rn when writing this so sorry if im confusing at all or theres bad gramatical errors) I think he was the sort of 'little girl' who was always super fascinated with the supernatural and exploration and other such stuff. I like to think he would follow the boys who would venture into the words as a form of 'adventure' all while telling them that "he was just as capable as them" etc. He would cut his hair short with scissors he stole from the kitchen drawer, walking around with ugly haircuts all the time. His mother called it a punishment for his actions but i think he wouldn't care. He refused to wear dresses for years and years and would always steal the clothes from the other kids on the street when he would go visit their house. He would be sent to their house in a dress and come back in ill fitting trousers that he would hold up by hand. His mother would always sigh and make him get changed and give them back. I think she would be a very strict traditional women who would disapprove of her 'daughter' and 'her' 'manly actions'. I think Leonard would go through one of those teenage phases where sometimes kids will give into the stereotypes and try really hard to be their assigned gender only to feel awful inside. However once he graduated i think he would end up running off to go pursue his interests as well as trying to be a guy. Dont ask me how he got the moustashe i will never answer you. heres some other related headcanons - he over binds to a very concerning degree. Both in 'its too tight' and 'its on way too long' and he definitely deals with pain due to this. although he also refuses a doctor for fear of discovery. - He avoids all romantic encounters and avoids close friendships. He isnt against the second but a little weary. for romance however i think he very much avoids that due to 1 not wanting to be outed and 2 fear of being seen as a women due to his body - he has a tendancy to admire cis male figures in simular job positions or roles (and unfortunately looking past any women) because he aspires to be them -his deadname is very different from his current name and is in fact a much nicer name. he chose leonard because it was a decent name he wasn't going to get tired of hearing (this is projection btw) Uh yeah thats- thats my headcanon! this isnt intended to talk over or replace the transfem stuff btw sketch here
Threshold 5 thought do we think that the ravener thing inhabiting a dead body is foreshadowing anything with john...
Yellow would've been an artist.
Johns a writer and yellow… I think either a musician or painter. The Musician makes more sense based on the text. In part 22 he describes how he enjoyed the way people enjoyed the piano(in 21). But in my heart… he is a painter. I don't know why. Maybe its my own projection onto a character I love as a visual artist myself. But, something in him screams to me an adoration for other art forms only being able to express himself visually.

NYARLATHOTEP'S SEXUALITYS or my headcanons.
(drawing of them with their 'pride flags' at the bottom)
I need to get this out of my head bc I don’t have anyone offline to talk about Malevolent with me atm
Imagine:
What if something bad were to happen to John when he has full control of Arthur’s eyes, hand/forearm and foot? (When Arthur allows him more control of those parts) Suddenly Arthur can’t “feel” him and he is left partially unable to use his hand and the foot on that side and fully blind while this happens. Also Arthur being worried about what has happened to John for once, aka it’s John’s turn to be the hurt one.
Imagine Arthur calling John’s name and getting no response. Arthur grabbing his left hand and trying to do anything that might jostle him back only for his hand to fall limp. The last thing Arthur hearing is John’s distressed/pained voice???
Bonus points if it’s like a reverse of what happened to Arthur in episode 43.
DUUUUDEEEE THATS HORRIFIC I LOVE IT SO MUCH OH GOD IMAGINE THE PANIC. also what do you think hypothetically happened to him? did kayne somehow take him or something?
I got a vision bro arthur wakes up, he had fallen asleep at the desk again, john having been up late writing. He goes to say good morning to him and... nothing. he prods a bit, even pinches the hand (which as you suggested he cant feel) and foot etc. He still cant see. this cant be happening. He has plans today. Plans with faroe He proceeds to spend the enitire day pretending to be able to see WITHOUT his seeing eye god. all while doing whatever he can think of o get john back. all while faroe questions him on why hes acting weird (or weirder than normal) that would be so fun <3
thinking about Kayne's possible role in threshold I'm pretty sure we all realise he's still around. That's made obvious. Why? Well it could be 'revenge' and I do believe it in part but I also think it is Genuinely that obsession he has with him. No matter how much he hates the reasoning that tricked him into said obsession it is still there. I think him clinging onto Arthur to get him out isn't unreasonable for the character, both because he let Lillith out before and because well- who else? I mean maybe he has followers who could do his bidding? but also, why would he do that? idk how to describe it but it feels like something Kayne would be reluctant to do- I mean we saw how he treated Larson? if he does have followers then he isn't likely to care nor think of them. Ofc Arthur isn't going to let him out. he hates Kayne and while he doesn't intend on killing him he sure as hell isn't going to let him out.
so. How does Kayne get out, or attempt to get out.... may i suggest a deal? due to whatever circumstances, either John or Arthur manage to make a deal with Kayne for... something. idk. this could be related to a few different things. depending on where the story goes. I think the most likely options of what the deal is regarding (based off what we know now) its either going to be based on returning Noel in someway. Maybe locating or being sent to threshold to find him or regarding Faroe, since there's obvious connections between the two due to the Torquemada puzzle book (Caine's jawbone) Although im less sure how this path would connect
