Ok, I take it as a "no"...
I was playing Mercs: Episode 1 (SC2 Arcade map) yesterday...
... and we were fighting the Crackling. It's a boss and it's locked in little area. I stayed outside with my Ghost (I have long range) and the Marine player (ktilkath) went inside.
Normally, when the player inside died, Crackling would lose interest and go back to its place. But this time I suppose it was too close to me and it started to chase me all over the base xD We were running around until it got interested in immortal Marauder and then we killed it xD Too bad there was no achievement for that xD
Just thought I'll share interesting bug :D It's a good game, quite challenging.
