Okay, so a few weeks ago it was my turn to give a talk about a topic of my choice. I knew there was this thing going on in Indiana about “Religious Freedome” and I thought about presenting that, but then there was this thought where I was like: What if someone find out I’m queer or if they don’t care about the topic because it clearly as something to do with being gay in Indiana. I was so unsure that I kept searching for other topics but the Restriction Act in Indiana - I just couldn’t get it off my mind. I wanted to share my knowledge with my classmates. Then I was like: F**k it, I’ll take that. So collected everything for my presentation and was totally into it. In class I had my power point presentation and talked about everything. I was really nervouse not because I’m a shy person, but I wanted everyone to understand the topic, think about it, believe in equality (the right way, not the Mike Pence way). At the end everyone was fully on my side and talked about how stupid this new law is. The teacher even had to end the discussion after my presentation because it took too long.
