Felt a little stupid the other day before I was talking to my friends about how I donāt really understand why some people like summer so much because while yes it has some positiv sides the as, I call them ānegative summer side effectsā petty much kill any good mood I have some days. And my friends were like ānegative summer side effects?ā
And I was like āyou know when it feels like the sun is burning out your eyes, the heat pimples, the intense daily sun and heat intensified headaches, nose bleeds sometimes, the extremely low energy levels and the times it feels like parts of your skin are being burned. You know all that the good stuff.ā
And while one of my friends was like āoh yeah no same I totally get that.ā and added some of his own summer induced problems
The other two look at us like we were crazy and went āNow we donāt need to wonder why you guys hate summer so much. We donāt have any of these problems.ā
And we were. āWhat do you mean you donāt have those problems?!ā
So yeahā¦
Looking back at it it was so obvious that that isnāt normal or at least not as common as I thought it was but it still surprised me so much

I have been at too many gatherings where people suddenly people start arguing about my hair like do you not have anything interesting or more important to talk about?
If I hear āshe has brown hair.ā āno she just has very dark hair blonde hair.ā one more time Iāll lose it
And donāt get me started on texture because 40% says my hair is straight while the other 40% tells me that my hair is curly and the 10% says my hair is straight but it isnāt straight straight so they ask me if they can straighten it because then āit would look so much betterā like no
Just leave my hair alone I donāt understand why people feel the need to argue about it
