An unusual search {Closed para}
Despite the cloudy sky, the day was as hot as any other summer day, the usual humidity making it almost unbearable to stay outside. However, it was pretty chill inside the library, making some people wear a thin jacket. Sora loved the cold.
Summer days were quite calm there, since most students were taking a well-deserved break from studying before summer holidays ended, enjoying their days at the beach before September and its rainy days came again.
There weren’t much to do at the moment, except for organizing some books that had been lent and returned, and putting them back in their shelves, and so Sora walked through the different sections of the library, pushing a small cart and checking on a list on a clipboard as she returned the books to their rightful places.
The silence was almost complete, barely disturbed by people’s steps on the carpeted floor, and even when someone asked one of the employees about something, their voices weren’t but a mere whisper. And as much as she could be a party animal outside of work, there were few things that Sora enjoyed more than that quietness.
