Thoroughly enjoyed the Light to Night Festival 2018 at the Civic District over the weekend, which held a wide variety of indoor and outdoor art displays and musical performances. I was especially impressed by the ‘Art Skins on Monuments’ display, which was the work of over 30 Singaporean artists. It transformed the facades of our national monuments into vibrant, multi-sensory works of art. The festival will run until 28 Jan 2018 as part of #SingaporeArtWeek. There’s lots to see and do, so head down to the Civic District to check it out! #LightToNightSG #SAW2018

Had the pleasure of opening Kim Lim: Sculpting Light at STPI last Friday. This was the very first major solo exhibition showcasing the works of the late Singapore-born sculptor and printmaker Kim Lim over three decades. Her creativity and brilliance was apparent through her works, which employed a mix of media across wood, stone, marble, and paper. The exhibition will run as part of the 6th Singapore Art Week 2018, an annual event to celebrate Singapore’s visual arts scene. Look forward to a range of activities from exhibitions and art fairs to festivals and talks from 17-28 Jan.
