Saving Alices-Resurrection
Chapter 2-Transition (Page Five)
A lot of can happen in the three years they had spent together. From celebrating holidays like Christmas to helping others in the Museum Campuses, the women were lobbing a special kind of ânormal lifeâ. But as of lately, Alice began to have strange visions in her dreams. Many versions of herself, going through the perils she had faced at the Hive over and over again. In every single sequence, they all ended up murdered in different ways.
At first, she assumed they were nightmares. But the blonde woman could feel their pain. She couldnât put it in words for Rachbak Nippon. Her greatest fear was losing her best friend to the Umbrella Corporation. Alice could not bear the thought of what they will do to her, if she was captured.
So while Rachbak was doing her patrol at the doors near outside, the woman prepared supplies for her journey. It was hard to make that decision, yet she knew it was for the girlâs safety. Plus Alice knew in her heart, that Nippon was a strong and resilient lady. After was done with her secret task, the survivor of the Hive Incident started on making a survival kit for her closet friend. After an hour of this tiny but important surprise, she picked up on an announcement across the museumâs intercom.
âTime for dinner!â
It was a meal consistent of water, tomato soup, and crunchy snacks.
âAlice! Alice!â Rachbak Nippon called out, after she woke up to see her gone. This was the third time Aliceâs friend got up without her. The sudden disappearance made the young woman anxious. She looked on the level with prances and storms, then went downstairs to the Main Level. Rachbak stopped in her tracks, since she noticed signs pointing down towards the escalators. The handwriting and doodles looked very familiar.
âI wonder where they leadâ, she thought out loud. Step by step, the woman followed each written clue, until the girl with a mixture of white and brown stumbled upon the Whispering Gallery. In between the curved but separate panels, a podium island counter had a bag with a letter. Being curious, she picked up the letter to read.
*The letter will be typed up soon somewhere in April*

Saving Alices-Resurrection
(Chapter Two-Transition, page four)
âSounds good to me.â After the call, the girls stood by the sliding door entrance. While the men acted like parking valets for 20 minutes, Miss Nippon couldnât help but wonder about the state of the museum inside. As if Alice could read the worried look on her friendâs face, she held her hand in reassurance. âNo matter whatâs on the other side of the stairs, I got your back.â
Nippon turned her head to face her friend. âAnd I got yours tooâ, she responded warmly.
âSorry to interrupt this teen girl movie momentâ, Leon Kennedy said, âBut Emmett and I have the codes for the museumâs system.â
The women rolled their eyes in annoyance and slight amusement, after stepping aside for Emmett Malcolm to punch in the password. Once it was done, the lights began to flash back on in the entry hall. As they walked down to the ticket counter and gift shop area, Alice and Rachbak couldnât believe what they were seeing. It was clean and everything looked orderly!
The ladies were at a loss for words. Then Alice asked, âHow is this even possible?â
âVolunteersâ, the former police officer answered, âIt is their job to keep our strongholds working, until a resident or more arrives. If you ladies go on a roadtrip or something, they can guard the place. But thatâs if only you give them a heads up on what your plan is.â
There was no time for the gift shop, as they rode the long escalators towards the lower level. Leon and Malcolm showed them where the food was, which was completely unspoiled. Then it was onto the main level, where everything was working. The only difference was the scratched outs of any mention of the Umbrella Corporation. Alice smirked and thought, âThank God we are not the only ones who hate what Umbrella has done.â
Once the group got up into the Balcony Level, Alice could sense that this place was perfect for her and Rachbak Nippon. She was the first to sit down in the 272 plane exhibit. The other woman noticed this and followed her lead. Leon Kennedy chuckled, âSo are you two camping here forever?â
Both of the ladies smiled with a unison of their answer, âYes!â

Saving Alices Short Story-Clone 66
This Alice Clone woke up in the shower, just like others that came before her. She took in her surroundings visually, followed by getting up from the floor. After wrapping her body in a towel, the clone swiped away the fog from the mirror. She can see herself as someone with short blonde hair and blue eyes. There was a hint of green in those eyes, just circling the blue.
The Clone went from towel to bathrobe, as if she had done it before. Walking with bare feet, this Alice went into a grand bedroom. On top of the cover, laid a red dress-gown. There were also an under-garment and a pair of black boots. She put them on without any incident.
She then noticed a photo-frame on the fancy dresser. A still-life look into a happy moment between a man and a woman. What surprised the Alice Clone was how strikingly similar the woman was to her. âWho is this woman? Is she-â, her stream of thoughts interrupted by a strange sound in the background.
The cloned woman put the object down and walked toward a statue at the end of the grand dinning room. A headless, armless statue of an angel, which was covered in flowing plastic sheets. This Alice admired it for a bit, before noticing a door on the left side. Out of pure curiosity, the dirty blonde haired woman opened it. It presented another hallway, yet this was different.
Images of the same womenâs past flashed through her mind. People in SWAT-like gear, being sliced through by lasers, resulting in precise carnage. The Alice Clone felt a rush of fear, but she had no time to ponder the reason behind this emotion. The glass wallâs lights flickered, giving way to a lethal laser. But this woman was not born a fool.
She jumped up into the air duct with only a piece of her boot heel cut off. Her knees and hands touched the regulated cool steel. The dirty-blonde breathed a sigh of relief, before crawling towards a ventilator that looked more like a sample for window blinds. The cloneâs fingers jerked the lid off, then she let the object fall onto the ground. She lands on the floor, via boots first.
Now this room seemed less deadly than the previous one. But as this Alice Clone walks by the walls, she noticed a line near the lobby. She became cautious and decided to use a nearby wheelchair to test it out. With enough speed built up, the woman let it go over the line. Nothing happened to the wheelchair, so the woman thought it was safe to go through.
But as soon as the Alice Clone went over the line and into the lobby, it revealed to be a trap. A glass sliding door blocked any escape route for her. Then came the deadly gas, which originated from the ceiling corners. Clone 66 felt frightened, like a cornered dog. She screamed for help, but no one cared to come to her rescue.
The last thing the woman remembered was going to sleepâŚâŚ
(Saving Alices: Book 1-Resurrection) Chapter 1-Before The Outbreak My name is Rachbak Nippon and I used to live next door to my neighbor, Alice. We worked for the Hive, which was part of the Umbrella Corporation. She was security; I was working part-time as their first autistic employee. We are also best friends. Just from the moment she and her âhusbandâ helped me out on setting up my home, which was next to herâs. But Umbrella had a dark side that was unregulated, unchecked. On the inside, our company gets the funding from: *Military technology *Genetic experimentation *Viral weaponry That wasnât the only problem for Alice and I. Spence, her âhusbandâ, was an asshole. Simple as that. Not only he spied on Alice, but I saw the bruises on her body, during our weekend outings. Like anyone whoâs friend is in that situation, I wanted him fired and sent to jail. Alice quenched this feeling I had, by helping her find somebody to take the Umbrella Corporation down. Right from the inside. But instead of me, she chosen someone from the outside. For that, I am forever grateful. Yet Spence listened in on their conversation. He betrayed all of us by stealing the T-Virus and the anti-virus. Which sets off the chain of events within the Hive, mansion, and my house. A nerve-gas came into my bathroom and knocked me out. It seemed like a long time, but I woke up to the commotion from the mansion. Unfortunately, all of the doors leading outside were locked. The next few hours were of me eating, attempts at communications, and reading. Then Umbrellaâs biohazard team came. First they took Alice and the guy she was with, then they took me. Before I blacked out of the second time, I screamed out her name. The next thing I knew, I was in surgery. And then darknessâŚâŚ When I woke up the third time, there were tubes all around me. I must had screamed like an animal. Fortunately, my friend came for me. We were both scared, but she and I walked out of the Raccoon City Hospital together. Everything we knew about the city was now a wasteland. âWhat are we going to do?â I asked, as I clutched her arm. She could see that I was nervous. Alice ruffled my white hair gently. âWe are going to survive togetherâ, she answered. Her words made me smile. She and I stood together, as the sun sets over our new dead city.
