Hearing those words, the boys tears seemed to only multiply, his sobs and wails loud and utterly heartbreaking. It had been a day where he tried to get his mom out of bed. Get her to come out, at least for more than a small bite of food or the bathroom. He doesn’t know what it was that set her off, being young and unaware, but he assumes it was his fault. 

She got so angry, grabbing him roughly by the arm and dragging him out the room, slamming the door once he was unceremoniously dropped. Holding his aching arm, he shuffled sadly outside, finding himself sobbing on the porch steps. He doesn’t know when the kind duck came along, but Sora was more than appreciative of his presence, even if he was a stranger.

“Oye oye oye- I’m a real esqueleto, tonto ! Stop waving that thing around- alebrije loco.”

Skeletal hand reached out to grab the staff, taller skeleton bending at the crooked spine to set amber gaze even with the other. He wasn’t angry, per say. In fact, he was fairly amused and curious before the other swat at him.
