Definitely a bittersweet gig - potentially my last at the beautiful Palace Theatre unless some sort of miracle occurs to preserve the state of live music in Melbourne - but what a way to celebrate its final few gigs with the enigmatic Jake Bugg performing to an appreciative sold out crowd. I caught my first ever gig souvenir - yes, I now own one of Bugg's drum sticks. Maybe it's time to learn how to play the drums?
