Hi guys! My turtle, shelldon, has been fighting ear infections for the past few years and it’s now progressed to the point where she has two huge abscesses on both sides of her head. And I was expecting surgery costs to be around 300(?) dollars. But it turns out total costs will be around 800!!! For a poor turtle from the streets of Chinatown!! We adopted her back in 2016 and for the past few years she’s been a cool part of my family. and even though this isn’t a directly life threatening disease I really just want her to live a happy turtle life.
