I want to preface this post with saying that I think the designer did a good job on the new Monster High dolls and my issue is with Marketing's pricing. Is it just me or are the prices on these Monster High the Shining dolls kind of steep? Maybe part of it is that they are a licensed merchandise and maybe if I was a fan of the movie (not into horror films) the price wouldn't bother me. The Cleo and Ghoulia set that was supposed to be an SDCC exclusive that ended up being sold on Mattel's site was $50. I personally don't see these as higher quality than the $50 set. I also imagine less production costs with these since there are two dolls that are identical with the exception of the eyebrows. However, the pre-orders sold out pretty quickly so apparently they are worth it to a lot of peole. I'm curious to see how quickly they sell at Walmart and Amazon and if they get marked down. #monsterhigh #mattelcreations #mattel #monsterhighreboot #savemonsterhigh https://www.instagram.com/p/CGssWN1JAHA/?igshid=14iwp4i5gqob2
