Hello, I drew this art to raise awareness of Kaki the hippo. He lives in a lovely zoo called Ubon no were he has loving caregivers and an environment made to enrich his life. He has mud,trees, water to swim in, lots of space to run and play. His caregivers are heartbroken. Father Pae has been caring for Kaki since he was born and is like a father figure for Kaki.
The zoo they are moving him drugs the animals for photo opps ans his enclosure will be concrete. Concrete will crack a hippos feet and the transit to move him is 12 hours and that is dangerous for a pygmy hippo. Jonah, wo is Moo Deng’s mother, had a brother who died from complications feom an injury he got from transit. We cannot let this happen to Kaki. Please help him by signing the petition! There are only 2,000 pygmy hippos left so every hippo life is precious. We need to care for his emotional and pysical well being. Please help him.
