Not to spread panic around, but... Have you noticed that in this scene JASPER'S BOOT turns pink too? Because I did notice, and now "Steven finally snaps and beats the shit out of her" is the LESS scary option to me
(the scarier option is "Steven turns her in a pink mindless puppet, White Diamond style, so she's not a treat for a while")
(the SCARIEST option is "Steven is scared by his own power, frees her mind... And then fu*king Jasper begs him to do it again, so at least she won't have to think of all her miseries anymore " !)
