“And there you go.” Aelin said after wrapping the bandage around the other’s knuckles, flashing them a small smile. She’d taken them to the back of the bar, where the bar kept a first aid kits. “I think we officially ran out of bandage now, so no more fights tonight.” It was meant to be a tiny joke, to light the mood. Eyes trailed along their face, as if to search for more bruises or wounds to take care of. “Are you okay?”

Glynda just smirked at her student, “And what makes you so sure you can please me?” It took a lot to please a huntress like her, and she looked him in the eyes, “Pants off, now.”

ANNIE COULDN'T BREATHE or at least she felt like she couldn't. How in the world was she supposed to believe anything that Erik was saying to her right now? He'd lied to her, played her for a fool. And what was worse is she didn't know if she should be angry or embarrassed, neither seemed like it was enough for the situation she found herself in. "Don't." Annie yanked her hand out of his reach, not even wanting to feel him touch her right now. "You have been lying to me Erik! And I had to hear from Niel that it was all some fucked up joke for you guys!" She accused. Annie brought the palm of her hands up to her eyes, wiping away the tears that were already threatening to fall. She couldn't cry in front of him, it would make her feel like an even bigger idiot. "Where you ever going to tell me?" She asked after a few minutes of silence. A small part of her wanting to know if he would have kept up the ruse while the other parts of her said she didn't want to know the answer.

"Oh Darling I'm flattered but frankly," she gave the man a once over. Handsome for sure but she was hardly the sort to just be charmed by a pretty face. "I don't think you could handle me."
