The boy had gone to Church. He had actually attended mass on Sunday, like something out of a parable. He had heard the others complain about their charges, how dull or good or this or that they were. But nothing could compare to the original Zack Kapoor. The boy had woken up early, gone to mass, called his mother, and then put in more than a full days work his place of business.
He hated Zack Kapoor.
His plan from the start was to not so much fuck with Zack’s life as just...do away with him. Impersonating this Zack while he was still gallivanting around could prove dangerous. He was a business man and board member of the Saints, after all. Even with the cover of no one really knowing “the new guy,” he couldn’t be too conspicuous. The plan was just to weave strands of doubt into his relationships and then slowly poison the boy.
That was before her got up and went to Church and called his mother, though. Before he had watched Zack do the fucking books for hours on a Sunday. It all proved too much and it came to a head as Zack was leaving. He slipped out the back door of Smooth Moves, fucking whistling and that’s when he attacked.
He lunged at Zack and tackled him to the pavement, slamming his head down. The man cried out in shock. After a few moments of grappling blind, he finally got a look at him. The sight of his own face took him off-guard and he got a solid punch in. But then Zack was tussling right back, stronger than he might have guessed. And once the element of surprise had worn off, it was clear that perhaps this plan wasn’t such a good one.
