Let me know your favourite. - - “Dhangar” a community based in maharashtra are based on the concept of travelling with herds of sheeps for their food and living. The whole family including the children travel through long distances across villages towards cities, selling their sheeps for wool and slaughtering as they  travel and camp around grasslands and water resources in villages  so that the sheeps are feed and grown. Staying in various places for weeks and months due to which the children of their community get schooled for just 4 months of the year during monsoon when they are in their own village.The community travels the rest of the year with all their supplies.  . . I had to make the decision of travelling to saswad. As always a lot of excuses are thrown by the mind if the journey will be worth and a significant amount of energy is spent takling these thoughts. But meeting people like these clears away all my doubts and these thoughts. This aaji is traveling solo to the pilgrimages in pune. Upon asking her age she told me she has no idea but she has witnessed the India Pakistan partition.
