They won't let her practice her magic? Don't they see that she's burning up with it? I'd hate to be the person who told her she needed to hide her light. I wonder...she hardly knows me but I want to help.
Marlene took to Daisy as soon as she met her. She can't help but like her spunk and enjoy the girls company. She sees so much potential in Daisy that it's killing her to think that she's being kept away from learning more magic. She knows it's not her place to step in but the more Marlene thinks about it the more she wants to offer to try to teach Daisy herself.

So it hardly surprised Nyota to Christine’s reaction when the nurse opened her door and found the linguist standing there with a stashed bottle of wine in one hand and a PADD full of movies in the other. However the hug right after was almost a record breaking vice grip.
