i am Always thinking about Sapphire and Navigator's first conversation.

i already talked about how the "I missed talking to you." bit hurts, but then the conversation turns to this and. augh. especially now with the information about why Sapphire got trapped in the time loop in the first place. it's not just that Sapphire can't leave, it's that they're not allowed to leave. they can't come home.

i miss these two so much :(

a crash course on Biking Pilog got mildly derailed by talking about Sapphire:

that's a question tRuby has been pondering for a long time.

im going to be drawing stuff from last lore stream FOREVER im obsessed with it. its so friggin good. i missed doing comics and while working on the transcript i kept having vivid thoughts about how the scene would go in comic form and i had to drop everything and go for it. im pretty happy with the paneling and framing here

hi Sapphire, been a while! and... Navigator? what the bell are you doing here. we've had Viking be cryptic before, but i think this is the first... well, not confirmed, but likely sighting of him in discord.

so: we've got a very brief bonding moment over how much Olm sucks, then Nav tries to be smug and gets pushback from Sapphire. (as a side note: we?)

there's also a return to the idea of Nav being trapped as well. Sapph has brought this up a few times in response to Nav trying to flaunt his freedom, and Nav doesn't take her seriously about it. i think she does have a point, though-- as much as Nav says he can leave any time he wants, he always comes back. it may not be a literal trap like what Sapphire is in, but something is keeping him here. he cant abandon his sister.

and then, of course, further friction now that Sapphire knows Navigator is the who imprisoned them and keeps holding it over her head.
