I’ve said it before, but I’m really glad Beau and Jester interacted this last episode, from doing the nails and to the dimension dooring to the dragon. I know that Beaujester/sappheau isn’t happening, it is still sad to me as a multishipper since I love Beauyasha but I still can’t help but feel Beaujester died so abruptly after the covid hiatus.
It’s shipping aside Beau and Jester barely interact at all since ep 100. Before the hiatus, I could have rolled a percentile die for the first 99 eps and if the episode was one that Laura was there for, there would be more beau and Jester interactions in that one episode than the last 23.
The reason why Beaujester was one of the biggest ships in critical role last year was because it was they have spent so much time developing as friends from the first episode. I don’t need them to be in love, but I would like them to act like they’re best friends again. I have a longer post in mind later, but it’s weird to get excited for scraps when they had such a strong and lasting friendship that disappeared since they came back from hiatus

I'm a little late, but I redrew my first beaujest drawing for beaujester week!!

Beau: (surprised) You did?
Jester: You’re pretty good at keeping secrets, but there was a point where you started getting all blushy around me. I know I’m not a master in romance or anything like that, but I think I’m pretty good at telling how people are feeling.
Beau: Oh, uh. (scratches the back of her head) I thought I was more subtle than that. (Clears throat) This is a little embarrassing. I mean, I’m happy with Yasha now, obviously, but yeah back then I was into you.
Jester: You want to know a secret? (whispers) I had a crush on you too.
Beau: Wh-wait what??
Jester: You don’t have to be so surprised!
Beau: I just, uh, didn’t think that you were… I told Veth at the time and she agreed there wasn't much chance of you reciprocating either.
Jester: Wait… did you think I was straight? Beau, I talk about how pretty girls are ALL the time! (mortified) Does everyone think I’m straight?
Beau: I mean, I didn’t say that.
Jester: (shouting to the sleeping Nein) HEY EVERYONE, GUESS WHAT: I’M BISEXUAL!!!
