it would mess with parrot’s instincts SOOOOO good. saps isnt even his mate, yet he acts so close to one that whenever he enters the room parrot flinches before calming down and then panicking again because “(?????? No why is his presence soothing??? hes my captor???)”
he’d be so careful with parrot that the macaw just hopes for pain at this point because he hates how much this gentleness is messing with his mind. he’d try to provoke saps so much but that little white blob Must keep himself in check ✅✅
im sure the only time saps would hurt parrot would be to leave bites on parrot. i think the only time he’d get provoked is when parrot does it accidentally, like showing the slighest signs of missing theo could probably set off saps
