Her being aloof? What about when she gets angrier and angrier at you for sparing her? What about her begging you to stay with her, even though she doesn't have much, you two could have a good life? What about if you do attack her, with her last breath, she smiles at you and says "Be good, won't you? My child." Before dissolving into dust.

Well yeah, those things too! She obviously cares a lot about the well being of the fallen kid, especially since news of the 6 before them dying made it back to her, apparently. She just never rly struck me as somebody who would cry during battle. I always thought she was more of a “try and hide ur feelings behind a wall, stay on top, stay in control” kinda monster. Though even that sorta facade can be worn down, I suppose!

(ekeke, i was also sorta making a joke at asgore’s expense, since you actually do see a tearful expression w him. granted it’s very silly and played for laughs, but still.)

like i said though! m’ not sayin anyone’s wrong or right, i just thought it was a funny observation.
