That’s all you could do at the moment.

Your controlling boyfriend.

When you and Sangyeon started dating a few months back, everything was good. He was sweet, respectful and kind. But one night, you was busy with work and forgot to message him, that’s when things changed.

Sangyeon started to become more clingy, blunt, aggressive and even possessive. He didn’t let you work the late shifts anymore, would check your phone and wouldn’t let you stay in your apartment alone. He made you move in with him to his apartment. He started to become too much. Overbearing. You couldn’t handle it anymore, especially after the hitting.

You and Sangyeon had an argument about his “arrangements” there was a lot of raised voices and tears from your part. Sangyeon was staring at you blankly. When you told him that if he didn’t stop you would leave, his face turned from blankness to anger. He then slapped you across the face, leaving you to cry. An hour later he came back to apologise, being the old sweet Sangyeon.

That’s when you thought it would stop, but no, it was just the beginning. Every time you and Sangyeon had an argument, even a tiny silly one, he would end up hitting you, leaving for an hour, before coming back and apologising with kisses and cuddles. It was a toxic cycle.

And today is the day you called it quits.

Sangyeon had left the apartment to head to the store for a few bits. You knew you had an hours top. You had left a note saying you was breaking up with him and leaving and for him to never contact you again. You managed to find the spare keys he’d tried hiding so well and started your escape.

That brings us to now.

It was nightfall and you had ran all the way into town. All the stores shut up for the night by now and you was just walking, checking behind you every few seconds. You had stopped running and started walking fast. You then reached the park, a few street lights on. 

You soon found yourself sat on a bench, the cool night air nipping at your body. You only had the chance to grab a thin jacket before running away. As you sat on the bench, thinking about what to do next, when you heard a deep laugh.

“Oh darling, you didn’t get very far, your little legs need a break?”

You jump up from the bench to see Sangyeon standing a foot away from you. How could be catch you so quickly!

“L-Leave me alone, Sangyeon.” You said.

“Why darling? I love you. You love me too.” He replies.

“Y-You hit me! That’s abuse Sangyeon!” You shout.

“It’s to keep you in line, honey, I always say sorry too” He responds.

“I don’t want that anymore Sangyeon.” You said bravely.

Sangyeon smirks and chuckles as he walks closer to you. Your frozen on the spot, unable to move or run from the monster in front of you. Sangyeon then gets closer, placing his warm hand on your chin, making you look up at him.

“Your mine. You can’t leave me.” He said darkly.

Before you could respond or fight, you felt a slight scratch on your neck. You start feeling drowsy and see Sangyeon smirking and holding an empty needle.

“Relax my love, all will be right soon, I love you.” He spoke gently.

You fall straight into his arms in a deep sleep. Tears on your cold cheeks.
