HAHAHAHAHAH you fool, you FOOL

So there have been a lot of you talking about/asking if AHMA was the last piece in the Vital Ruins series. And the answer is: for now.

I would like to come back to the series at some point and tie up all the loose ends, but at the moment, I’m pretty well exhausted with that ‘verse. It’s been a struggle to write it, especially recently, and I need some time away before I even think about trying to do any more with it.

I can’t guarantee I’ll ever actually get around to doing this. Like I said: I would like to. I just can’t be sure I’ll have the energy/inspiration/gumption to come back to it. I don’t want to make any promises that it turns out I can’t keep, so all I’m saying is that I may come back to it later.

Now, that being said:

I have zero qualms with anyone else picking up the AU and playing with it. If you have something you wish would happen, or something you wish hadn’t happened, or a loose end you want to tie off, feel free. I would love to see it and I would definitely love for y’all to have some kind of closure, in case I can’t provide it. I know writing fic for a fic is weird, and it may be kind of vain for me to even be mentioning this, but I just wanted to make sure y’all knew that I was cool with it, on the off-chance that somebody needed to know.

Thanks for sticking with me, and thank you for all your wonderful comments, and I hope you’ll hang out for what’s coming up next. I’m pretty excited about it, anyway--I hope you will be, too.

The Sanguimancer verse? Welllllll...

Don’t hold me to it, but I do want to write a sequel and/or prequel. I’m going to work on my other (long-neglected) projects for now, and I’ll be going to grad school in January, but hopefully I’ll find the time and energy to work on it more.
